Silas Young Implies That CM Punk Returned To Wrestling Under A Mask At An MKE Wrestling Show

Silas Young hints that CM Punk made a surprise return to wrestling.

Former two-time ROH World Television Champion Silas Young's Wisconsin-based 'MKE Wrestling' promotion ran a show on April 19th. The promotion pushed out a video on their Twitter account of a masked man running into the ring during a match and hitting a "G.T.S." on Daryck St. Holmes to cost Holmes the match. The masked individual quickly exited the ring and left the building through the backdoor.

MKE Wrestling owner Silas Young went on to tweet about the success of the show and within those tweets implied that former 5-time WWE World Champion CM Punk was a part of the show and was the masked individual who executed the "G.T.S."

The last time that CM Punk stepped into a wrestling ring under his in-ring name was at the 2014 Royal Rumble pay-per-view where shortly after, he departed from WWE. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp learned the following information about the masked individual possibly being Punk and noted the following within the Fightful Select service:

A trusted source contacted us and said that this actually isn't the first time it's happened. Apparently Punk appeared under a hood at some point before his falling out with Colt Cabana, which would have been during the Wrestling Road Diaries 3 filming. We're told that it was dropped from the final cut after Punk and Cabana's issues developed.

CM Punk was present in the Milwaukee area at a wrestling tournament at West Allis Central High School and took a picture with Brett Danner with a similar hoodie that was sported in the MKE Wrestling video.

As more information about this situation comes to the forefront, we will continue to update you here on Fightful.
