Slim Jim Pauses Promotional Activities With WWE After 'Disturbing Allegations' Against Vince McMahon

Slim Jim is pausing its activities with WWE.

On Thursday, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE and former executive John Laurinaitis. In the lawsuit, allegations of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault were brought against McMahon.

On Friday, Slim Jim released a statement saying their were pausing their promotional activities in light of the "disturbing allegations."

“Slim Jim values integrity and respect in all of our partnerships. Given the recent disturbing allegations against Vince McMahon, at this time we've decided to pause our promotional activities with WWE. This decision reflects our commitment to our brand values and responsibility to our community.

We will continue to monitor the situation and base our future engagements on our values and what’s best for our brand."

WrestleVotes first reported that Slim Jim had notified WWE they were pulling their sponsorship from the WWE Royal Rumble.

Slim Jim and WWE announced a deal ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2023 that was scheduled to see the brand have a presence at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40.
