Smackdown 3/13 Viewership Highest Of 2018

WWE had good ratings for Raw and Smackdown this week.

According to Showbuzz Daily, this week's episode of Smackdown had the highest average rating of the year so far. The show averaged 2,771,000 viewers for the two hour program. This comes off of the ratings dropping the past couple months all the way down to 2.5 million viewers. On January 2nd, Smackdown averaged 2,720,000 viewers which was the only time this year the show reached at least 2.7 million.

A few shows beat Smackdown in average viewers on Tuesday but WWE held tightly onto the 18 to 49 year old demographic with 910 thousand of the viewers coming from that group. Most of the shows which beat Smackdown in average viewers were cable news programs like The Rachael Maddow Show and Hannity.

Also this week Raw drew an average of at least 3 million viewers for all three hours of that show.

Not many of the Smackdown videos from the WWE YouTube did well this week. The beat down of Shane McMahon did almost 1 million views and the match between Big E and Jimmy Uso versus The Bludgeon Brothers hit 1 million views. The other video which was closest to those numbers was AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura in the ring before Styles match against Rusev which did almost 500 thousand views.
