Another name has qualified for the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary.
During the May 19 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey faced Laredo Kid in an Ultimate X qualifying match. The bout, which is set to take place on June 19 at Slammiversary, will see Ace Austin defend his X Division Championship against five other wrestlers. Thus far, only Kenny King has earned a spot in the match.
With another strong performance, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey defeated Laredo Kid to join the field for Ultimate X. He’ll look to take the title from Ace, who tried befriending him before they faced each other in an X Division triple threat match at Rebellion last month.
Bailey remains undefeated in singles competition since joining IMPACT in January.
