Another champion vs. champion bout has been added to WWE Survivor Series.
On SmackDown, it was announced that new Raw Tag Team Champions the Authors of Pain will face SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar at Survivor Series.
This bout sticks with the Raw vs. SmackDown theme that has been promoted on television. The Authors of Pain captured the Raw Tag Team Titles this past Monday when they defeated Seth Rollins in a handicap match. Rollins' partner, Dean Ambrose, was allegedly not in the arena at the time of the bout, but he did show up after the match. The Bar won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at SmackDown 1000, defeating the New Day with a little help from the Big Show. The Bar retained the titles at Crown Jewel in a rematch against the New Day.
The Bar and Authors of Pain have never met in tag team action.
