Stone Cold Steve Austin On Bray Wyatt Working With Matt Hardy

Stone Cold approves of Bray Wyatt teaming with Matt Hardy.

During the WrestleMania 34 Kick-Off, Bray Wyatt returned to help Matt Hardy win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He had been gone since falling into the Lake of Reincarnation during Ultimate Deletion at the Hardy Compound. On his podcast, Stone Cold Steve Austin discussed the change in character for Bray Wyatt and why he needed it.

"He needs something fresh and new because he was kind of on fire for a couple years and then just tailed off for some reason," said Austin.  "The promos lasted too long and it was just too much...those promos did not seem to have a point," he continued.

Austin went on to say he thinks Wyatt will benefit from teaming with Hardy.

"That match they had a couple months ago, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt, a lot of people did not like the in-ring action. I actually loved that match because it was a match between two strong characters. I like those together. I at least like them interacting with each other because I think they are good for each other," said Austin.

Also in the podcast, Austin expressed his admiration of Hardy changing into the Woken character and his commitment.
