Swoggle Comments On His Run In WWE, Working With El Torito, And More

Swoggle stated that he knows his [wrestling] dates will one day run dry, so he is making the most out of what is left in his career.

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Swoggle will be appearing at All-Star Championship Wrestling's Wisconsin WaterCity WrestleCon on April 21st. To promote the event Swoggle spoke with the Post Crescent which is a news publication based out of Wisconsin.

Swoggle had an 10-year run in the WWE and still to this day he can not fathom how much it meant to him to be able to live out his dream.

"I was living my dream," he stated, "It's all I wanted to do since I was little. I lived my dream and it was awesome."

At the 2014 WWE 'Extreme Rules' PPV Swoggle competed against miniature luchador El Torito in a toned-down version of a TLC match, the "WEE-LC" match. In surprising fashion the two men ended up having their match praised by many who viewed it and Swoggle states that it was the best thing that he'll ever do.

"We stole the show that night," said Swoggle, "No one expected it to be as good as it was. It's the best thing I'll ever do."

Swoggle made his first appearance on WWE television playing the role of "Little Bastard" who would help aid former WWE United States Champion Finlay to victory. Swoggle explained that the sports-entertainment company was simply looking for a midget to be a part of Finlay's gimmick at the time and with a good word put in by Mr. Kennedy he would soon become a WWE superstar.

"They were looking for a midget to be with Finlay on WWE TV. Kennedy was working for WWE at the time, he said 'I got the guy,'" Swoggle said. "They hired me, it was off to the races."
