The Culling Turns On Tatum Paxley; Jacy Jayne Regains NXT Women’s Championship At NXT Gold Rush

A new NXT Women’s Champion crowned.

It was a month ago at NXT Halloween Havoc where Tatum Paxley defeated Jacy Jayne to become NXT Women’s Champion. Fast forward to present day, and Jayne is the new champion.

Headlining week one of NXT’s Gold Rush special was Paxley defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Jayne. Jayne was accompanied to the ring by Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid), and Paxley was accompanied to the ring by The Culling (Izzi Dame, Shawn Spears & Niko Vance).

The conclusion of the bout saw Paxley be sent out of the ring by Jayne. The referee’s attention was on Jayne, who had the title belt in her hand. When Paxley tried to jet back into the ring, Spears and Vance blocked her from doing so, and then Izzi Dame came into frame and knocked Paxley to the floor.

She tossed Paxley back into the ring, and Jayne followed up and regained the NXT Women’s Championship. Jayne is now a two-time NXT Women’s Champion.
