Thekla Shares That Tony Schiavone Does Stand-Up Comedy: “I Was Utterly Surprised At All The Crazy Sh*t He Was Spitting”
The ‘Toxic Spider’ was surprised at Tony Schiavone’s comedy set.
Going into the 2026 AEW All Out pay-per-view, Thekla returned to TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast to promote the show.
As the conversation moved along, Thekla shared that AEW commentator Tony Schiavone does stand-up comedy.
“My favorite commentator?” She laughed. “They’re all cute. I like Tony because he’s vile. I saw his stand-up comedy a couple of months ago and I was utterly surprised at all the crazy sh*t he was spitting.” Thekla was asked to clarify if she meant to say Schiavone does stand-up, and she replied, “Yes, yes, and it’s wild. It’s insane… It’s nasty-dirty. Just how we like it, baby!”
At All Out, Thekla will clash with Willow Nightingale to determine who will challenge Mercedes Moné for the AEW Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream.
