TJP Prefers Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins To Close WrestleMania Over Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey

TJP explains why he wants to see Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins close WrestleMania.

The first two matches that were made official for WrestleMania 35 in six weeks were Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship and Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women's Championship. Becky Lynch was swapped out of the title match for Charlotte Flair but is still in the mix of everything going on involving Ronda Rousey.

Hall Of Famers, fans and many others have spoken about the possibility of women main eventing WrestleMania and that possibly happening this year. WWE recently ran a poll on their website and 81% of people voted that they want to see the Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey match close the "Show Of Shows". Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and recent WWE release TJP was a part of the 19% that wants to see Brock and Seth main event. When TJP joined the 'Wrassle Rap' podcast, he explained why he prefers a Brock versus Seth main event over a Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey main event.

?I said personally, I want to see Brock/Seth, and it?s nothing against Becky and Ronda because I think they?re gonna have an amazing match and I actually know Becky and Ronda way better than I know Brock or Seth. I know Seth a little bit, obviously but I don?t know Brock at all, but I said I want that because I really like every match that Brock is having. Everything. Again, like I was saying, we live in a world of narratives." He continued, "We look at wrestling in a way to rate it, because that?s how we look at life. We look at everything like, ?How can I rate this? How can I have an opinion on this but first let me see what everybody else?s opinions are so that I can say the same thing and get the same clicks.? I don?t think about rating a Brock match. You think about Brock and it?s like, how many people want Brock to lose? There?s an irrational hatred or love for it. There?s no in between, and that passion is so strong, you don?t even apply a narrative to it. You?re just like, ?Oh my God?. Like it?s emotional for people. At Survivor Series 2016 when he was wrestling Goldberg I think -- the first match, the boys in the locker room were jumping on tables watching it. These guys are in the locker room with us, and we were so emotionally invested and emotionally connected to that match." TJP revealed. "Brock has a way of bringing that magic out. It?s like real magic. You never look at that and think, ?I gotta rate this? like Okada and Kenny. That?s real magic. That you affect people on a emotional level so deeply that they legitimately want you to succeed or fail. He?s an unexpected wrench in the machine of cogs of the narrative world that we live in. Of course we can all create narratives about him and what?s he doing and, ?Oh he?s a part-timer? and this or that, but it?s like, he?s the only guy, the only entity in almost any [form] of entertainment that I can think of -- like there?s very few entities that are like this, he forces you to not even adhere to the narrative because you?re so emotionally wrapped up in whatever he?s doing.?
