Tommaso Ciampa Says He Asked Tony Khan To Let Him Show Out During Upcoming AEW Boston Tapings

Tommaso Ciampa says he has asked Tony Khan to let him show out during AEW’s tapings in Boston this week.

Ciampa has previously wrestled in Boston for WWE, but has yet to have a major moment in his home state of Massachusetts. Now, he has spoken further about wanting that moment.

While speaking to NBCBoston in a new interview, Tommaso Ciampa spoke about his nerves surrounding competing in his hometown of Boston, noting that he has asked Tony Khan to allow him to show out during this week’s tapings.

“I don’t even know what to expect. I will say it feels similar to when I made my debut at AEW. I remember saying to my wife right before I went out, I was like, “This isn’t one of those, I hope they remember things, because I just left WWE like two months ago.” I said, “It’s one of, I hope, they care things.” I feel that similar feeling of like, man, this means a lot to me and I hope that that translates to them. I hope they realize, because I haven’t performed ever in front of Boston with AEW. Haven’t ever performed at this venue, but it’s been a long time since I’ve got to like show out in Boston. A lot of times when I got to go there with WWE, it wasn’t like I didn’t get a big role on the show. So that’s kind of what I’m hoping the most for. I was like, “Hey Tony [Khan], just let me show out on this one.”
