Toni Storm will challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT UK Women's Title at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool on Jan. 12.
The bout was made official on Wednesday's episode of NXT UK.
Following the television announcement of TakeOver: Blackpool, Storm made her way to the ring and said that winning the 2018 Mae Young Classic means she gets a championship match of her choosing. Storm revealed that she wants a NXT UK Women's Title bout against Ripley in Blackpool.
Ripley won the NXT UK Women's Title on Aug. 26 by defeating Storm in the finals of an eight-woman tournament. Her title victory aired on the Nov. 28 episode of NXT UK.
NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool takes place on Jan. 12 from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England. Here is a look at the announced card thus far:
