Batista is getting the match that he has always wanted.
After putting an early stoppage to Ric Flair's 70th birthday party in an attempt to get the attention of soon-to-be WWE Hall Of Famer Triple H, Batista is receiving the match that he has been waiting on for years which is a singles match at WrestleMania against Triple H. Triple H and Batista were scheduled to meet face-to-face on tonight's episode of RAW but Batista brought security with him that Triple H referred to as the "Guardians Of The Independent Scene". Batista kept his distance from "The Game" and went back and forth with Triple H until HHH eventually gave in and agreed to face Batista at WrestleMania 35. Before Batista left from camera's view, Triple H alerted him that their match come April 7th will be contested under No Holds Barred rules.
Shortly after WrestleMania 34, it was confirmed by Batista himself that he was once in talks with WWE to team with Ronda Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon but those talks came to an abrupt end and Batista did not hear from the sports-entertainment company for some time after that.
The former 4-time World Heavyweight Champion has made it clear that he has wanted to close the book on his in-ring career with a match against Triple H at WrestleMania and he will get that match in just four weeks. WrestleMania 35 will be Batista and Triple H's second one-on-one match at WrestleMania as it was at WrestleMania 21 when they battled for the World Heavyweight Title.
