Triple H has worked hard to produce a team environment at the Performance Center.
Speaking on a media call ahead of NXT TakeOver: WarGames II, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp asked Triple H, "Who at the Performance Center has gone above and beyond in helping out the younger talent?" The WWE Executive Vice President stated that everyone plays their role, which is why the PC is so successful.
"Across the board, one of the things that we always get comments on is the culture of what we're doing. It's one of the things I'm most protective of in the [Performance Center]. If somebody comes in there and their attitude is wrong and they're gonna ruin the culture in the [Performance Center], I'll eliminate them," he said. "I don't want it in there and won't allow it to break down. Part of that culture is the ability that it's a team environment. That's really what our business is. While everybody is out for individual success, you work together to do it. As talent becomes more and more successful, they're very engaged in the success of the people underneath them," stated Triple H. "You see that across the board. At the upper level, the Tommaso Ciampa's, the [Johnny] Gargano's, the Aleister Black's, the Adam Cole's. The people that have the experience are constantly feeding back down and helping to bring up the others beneath them. As you see them getting more experience and you see them growing into the role, they're doing it with the people underneath them. That feed, that trickle down system, when you get to the top of it, the coaching staff that's there. Sara Amato, Shawn [Michaels] is there."
Triple H continued, "You're getting the greatest coaching from that level in the world. Then it trickles down and people are learning, they're really passing it on to those underneath them and I think it's the success of why you've seen the growth curve in so many talents, be so fast. Because they're just 24/7 immersed in this environment where everybody around them is invested in their success and helping them to grow. It's really this amazing culture that I'm really proud of."
The WWE Performance Center opened in July 2013. William Regal and Canyon Ceman serve at talent scouts while Matt Bloom is the head trainer. The training staff includes Sara Amato, Robbie Brookside, Norman Smiley, Adam Pearce, Shawn Michaels and more. Through the years, many wrestlers have served as guest trainers at the Performance Center, including Lance Storm, Shane Helms, and Scott Hall.
