Triple H believes in the United Kingdom brand.
In June, WWE filmed and aired the United Kingdom tournament including the two day event at Royal Albert Hall. The event also saw the announcement of the NXT United Kingdom brand which will begin filming soon. In an interview with press after the event, Triple H stated how proud he was of the new UK brand.
"I think the one thing about this brand is that it will continue to evolve, continue to grow...it's going to be a constant progression," said Triple H. "I'm very proud of the group that was here the last two days and has been a part of the last 18 months. I wanted to showcase that tonight and say to everyone that was here and to the world 'this is the UK brand they're going to make a mark and they're going to make a statement,'" he added.
At the end of the event at Royal Albert Hall, Triple H and the members of the United Kingdom brand stood on stage and HHH instructed the wrestlers to "make a lap" around the ring. HHH explained why he was compelled to do so.
"That whole last scene of us being on the stage was just a moment to say 'this is the brand." But the actual moment of me saying 'hey, you guys go back down there and make a lap around the ring' was just a spur of the moment thing because I felt it in my gut. If I was them, I would want to go out there for a minute," said Triple H.
The NXT UK brand will be filming at the end of July and Fightful Wrestling will be covering the tapings and the episodes when they air on the WWE Network.
