Stephanie McMahon may be 'the Authority' on Raw, but Vince McMahon isn't afraid to put her in her place behind the scenes.
During Stephanie McMahon's most recent Facebook Q&A, the on-screen authority figure reiterated that she's simply a character on the show, and doesn't have much creative input on the show. Stephanie even told a story regarding last week's WWE draft about Vince shooting her down.
"We were rehearsing the draft, and I was up at the podium and asked Vince a question. I said 'I'm confused as to how this is working.' I gave him an idea, and he was stressed because we were going live, and he said 'How about you just not give any new ideas at this point? Even if they're really great ones. This is how we're doing it. No more'. He said it a little more stiffly than that, but all good," Stephanie said with a smile.
Stephanie joked that she's simply happy to be involved with the WWE. As previous reports regarding McMahon's backstage demeanor have went, he is the be-all, end-all of creative.
"That was it. He's the boss and what he says goes. I'm really just happy to be a part of it," Stephanie says.
