Viper has new goals and aspirations.
The 27-year old SWA World Champion Viper has been a focal point of the women's wrestling scene since 2008. Viper is trying to change the stereotypes of the plus-size female wrestler which is that they have to be portrayed as a heel and can not have a bubbly personality. Viper wears her bubbly personality to the ring and goes into battle mode once the bell rings.
The British women's wrestling scene features the likes of Toni Storm, Jinny, Millie McKenzie and programs such as NXT U.K. and World Of Sport. Viper was featured on the 2018 season of WOS Wrestling and challenged for the WOS Women's Championship on numerous occasions. This upcoming January, members of the WOS Wrestling roster are set to embark on a live event tour and Viper will be a part of that tour.
To promote the forthcoming house shows, Viper spoke with the 'Evening Express' and discussed what she is looking to do in World Of Sport:
"We have just done the first season of World of Sport Wrestling and by all accounts everyone was very happy with it and it was hugely popular. We are hoping it will not just be a one off but a continuous thing. I would certainly like to see it on our televisions for many more years to come." She said. "Ideally I want to see a series 10, 11 and 12. World of Sport has been great for me. I had a lot of exposure from traveling to Japan and managed to get myself in the eye-line of lots of wrestling fans. What World of Sport did was introduce us all to a whole new demographic of fans who had maybe never even seen wrestling before. All my social media followers went up and I noticed more people coming to shows. I would be getting more messages from fans all across the spectrum, the numbers of viewers and fans were going up.?
Viper is no stranger to being on the mainstream as she competed in the first-ever WWE Mae Young Classic tournament. She shared that being in the sports-entertainment company was one of her goals at one point but she realized she could change the wrestling game from her home in the U.K.
?It is certainly one of my goals and a thing I want to tick off my list. I would not say it is my top aspiration. If I am being completely honest it used to be. However, I have been presented with an opportunity where I think I can maybe do everything I want ? but at home." She explained. "That is my real goal and what I want to do is help British wrestling become big on British national television. So I don?t have to go anywhere. It is so exhilarating but a little bit frightening as well.?
