Virtual Basement has begun motion capture on their upcoming console video game “The Wrestling Code.”
Wrestling video games are all the rage this year. With a week to go until the scheduled release of RetroMania Wrestling, MDickie’s Wrestling Empire currently available on the Nintendo Switch, and AEW working on a console video game of their own. There has not been such a fruitful time for professional wrestling video games in decades, if ever.
Virtual Basement is working on their own game centered around wrestling legends and independent Superstars. Expected to release on the current generation of consoles, “The Wrestling Code” has begun a major step in their development process, motion capture.
In addition to this news, the team behind the game also teased a heavy deathmatch element coming to the video game.
