Wardlow Credits Several WWE Hall Of Famers With Giving Him Guidance In AEW

Wardlow is sitting under the learning tree with some of the most knowledgeable and legendary names in the history of professional wrestling.

From the beginning, Wardlow has been pegged as one of the stars that AEW could potentially build its future around. With main event matches against names like Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho already under his belt, Wardlow is starting to build the foundation that the future of AEW could be built upon.

AEW doesn't just have stars for the future, even though a large portion of their reputation is built upon being a fresh alternative. AEW also has many names with Decades of experience in the industry across promotions like ECW, WCW, Jim Crockett Promotions, and of course, WWE.

When asked, during an appearance on Mark Madden’s radio show, who he goes to for advice in AEW, Wardlow was able to name at least four WWE Hall of Famers including two of the most successful big men in the industry, Paul “The Big Show” Wight and Mark Henry.

“There's a few actually, Billy Gunn has given me a lot of great advice. Great mind. Billy Gunn, Paul Wight, [and] now that Mark Henry's there, he has given me a lot of insight. [Also], Jake ‘The Snake.’ Man, Jake has really really taken a liking to me and really wants to see me grow. Jerry Lynn, [too]. I mean, -- we're surrounded by such great minds and talent, and we're very lucky to sit under that tree of legends and knowledge.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Wardlow compared his rise in AEW to Batista's rise in WWE when he was a part of Evolution. Learn more about that at this link.
