Washington Commanders Safety Tyler Owens Hits Sick Spinebuster

Tyler Owens of the Washington Commanders may have already had the tackle of the year in the NFL, and we’re only in week one.

Lining up on special teams against the Philadelphia Eagles, Owens blasted through two players on his way to the punt returner.

Once he met Britain Covey, he laid him out with a sick buster as Covey attempted to either go through or around the Commanders’ safety.

Owens is in his third NFL season, all with the Commanders. He finished the game with two tackles.

The Eagles would end up winning the game, 24-22, with Jalen Hurts throwing three touchdown passes.
