Will Hobbs is officially Team Taz.
After weeks of being recruited by Taz, Hobbs made his choice on Wednesday's Dynamite, turning on Cody to aligning himself with Taz, Brian Cage, and Ricky Starks.
Hobbs initially came out to save Darby Allin and Cody Rhodes from a beatdown at the hands of Team Taz, but as Cody rested himself on Hobbs, who was holding the FTW Championship, he was decked by Hobbs. Taz, Cage, and Starks entered the ring to celebrate with their new team member.
In the main event of Dynamite, Cage and Starks defeated Cody and Darby in tag team action with Cage pinning the AEW TNT Champion with an avalanche drill claw.
