WWE NXT Results 12/6 Kassius Ohno vs Johnny Gargano, Ruby Riott vs Sonya DeVille in a No Holds Barred Match & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT. Tonight we have an action packed show as Kassius Ohno faces a mystery opponent in a qualifying match to get into the fatal your way at the next TakeOver as well as Ruby Riott taking on Sonya DeVille in their final NXT match in a No Holds Barred Match and much more so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST for an hour showcasing the WWE NXT brand!

-Andrade Almas and Zelina come out to the ring to celebrate his winning the NXT championship at NXT TakeOver WarGames last month. Almas mocks Drew McIntyre and his injury he sustained in their match before saying that he's going to be champion for a long time. Almas goes on to talk about the next number one contender in Spanish before saying that he beat Drew for all of the fans before celebrating as we go to commercial. 

-We come back from commercial to Lars Sullivan being interviewed by various reporters where they ask him about Kassius Ohno and their match and about what his plans for the future are. 

Trent Seven vs Killian Dain

Trent immediately goes after Dain, but he just shoves him off and hits a shotgun dropkick into the opposite corner that sends Trent into a heap. They briefly exchange strikes before Dain drops Trent with a forearm, then slams him down for a quick two count. Trent hits a snap DDT before Dain hits his signature running cross body for a quick two count, then Trent hits a lariat for a quick two count of his own. Dain slams Trent down before hitting a splash off of the top for the pin and the win.

Winner: Killian Dain via pinfall

-Undisputed Era cut a promo backstage about NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn before Ruby Riott comes out for her final NXT match against Sonya DeVille.

Ruby Riott vs Sonya DeVille No Holds Barred Match

Sonya is in control to start the match before Ruby backs her into a corner and hits her with several forearms. Ruby hits a series of kicks into a snap suplex for a quick two count before going for her finisher, but Sonya catches her leg and puts her in an ankle lock. Ruby gets to the bottom rope for the break, but it doesn't matter in the match so she has to get out of the ring to break the hold as we go to commercial.

Sonya is in control as we come back from commercial, dropping Ruby with a kick to the midsection before hitting a running knee in her side for a quick two count. Sonya beats Ruby down with forearms before kneeing her in the midsection in the corner and hitting a snapmare into a knee to her spine for a near fall. Ruby tries to fight back with a series of forearms, but Sonya drops her with a jumping clothesline for another near fall. Sonya drags Ruby down to the mat and tries to put her in an arm triangle, but she fights out of it and drops Sonya with a uranage. Ruby drops Sonya repeatedly before hitting a slingshot DDT through the ropes for a near fall.

Ruby sends Sonya out of the ring before hitting a tope to the outside, then rolls her back into the ring only for Sonya to put her in a guillotine choke until she passes out for the win.

Winner: Sonya DeVille via submission

-We get an interview session with Ember Moon like we did Lars Sullivan before she's interrupted by Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. We then get a video package for the United Kingdom Division and Kassius Ohno talking to William Regal about his match against his mystery opponent as we go to commercial.

Kassius Ohno vs Johnny Gargano

They go back and forth to start the match, countering each other until Ohno sends Johnny off of the apron and to the floor with a forearm as we go to commercial. 

Ohno is in control as we come back from commercial, chopping him in the corner before hitting a snapmare into a knee drop. Johnny comes back with a series of right hands and counters a suplex into a huricanrrana that sends Ohno out of the ring. Ohno gets back in the ring just as Gargano gets out of it and Johnny hits a spear through the ropes for a near fall before kicking Ohno in the face repeatedly until he hits a jumping senton when Johnny misses a rolling kick. Ohno boots Johnny off of the apron before missing a flip over the top rope, but lands on his feet only for Johnny to hit a tope to the outside and send Ohno flying up onto the ramp. They get back in the ring and Ohno hits a cyclone kick for a near fall before Johnny rolls him up for a near fall.

 Ohno hits a boot to the back of the head of Gargano in the ropes before hitting a leaping lariat for a near fall, then Johnny locks in the Gargano Escape for the tap and the win.

Winner: Johnny Gargano via submission
