WWE has provided an update on Randy Orton's condition.
Last Friday on SmackDown, The Usos defeated RK-Bro to become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. After the match, however, Jimmy and Jey Uso, along with Roman Reigns, would continue to assault Riddle and Randy Orton. The Viper would take several blows, including the steel steps being rammed into his chest and abdomen.
In a new update from WWE, "Randy Orton is currently undergoing consultations with neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons to determine the extent of his injury and to recommend course of treatment."
There is currently no timetable for Orton's return.
Riddle appeared on tonight's episode of SmackDown and stood side-by-side with Shinsuke Nakamura as they confronted The Usos. The new pairing will take on the champs this coming Monday in a Championship Contender's Match.
