WWE has released Braun Strowman.
WWE has released SmackDown Superstar Braun Strowman, as Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp first reported.
He returned to WWE in September 2022 after his initial release in June 2021. During this tenure, he has feuded with names like Jacob Fatu and Bronson Reed, helping to establish new monsters on the roster. He returned from injury on the December 13, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown following a groin injury. On the April 4th episode of WWE SmackDown, he lost a Last Man Standing Match to Jacob Fatu. He last competed on April 18, teaming with LA Knight against Fatu and Solo Sikoa

In his overall WWE career, Strowman has won several championships, including the WWE Universe Championship, which he picked up at WrestleMania 36 during the global pandemic in a match with Goldberg.
