"Rowdy" Ronda getting some filming done.
Coming out of her WWE in-ring and WrestleMania debut last month, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey has made her presence felt on a weekly basis on WWE's flagship show Monday Night RAW. Over the past number of weeks she has reignited her friendship with the woman who would go to the WWE Performance Center in secrecy to train with Ronda; former SmackDown Live Women's Champion Natalya.
Last night's edition of RAW did not feature an appearance or segment with Ronda Rousey but the sports-entertainment company issued the following statement detailing that Ronda was not on RAW because she was busy filming a project for shark week.
“Ronda Rousey will not appear on Monday Night RAW tonight, as she is currently filming for Shark Week, which begins Sunday, July 22nd on Discovery. Although Rousey is typically sinking her teeth into the Women’s division on the red brand, this week she is on location for an as-yet unrevealed piece of Shark Week programming. The Baddest Woman on the Planet posted a Shark Week tease via Instagram.”
Although Ronda was not on the show her peers took the fight to one another in a Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match qualifier to determine who would be the first to earn their spot in the match on June 17th. Head over to Fightful's coverage of last night's show to get caught up on the action.
