WWE SmackDown 4/17 Draws Lowest Viewership Number Since October

SmackDown's viewership this week was the lowest for an episode in 2020.

According to overnight numbers provided by Showbuzz Daily, the April 17 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.192 million viewers, down from last week's 2.304 million viewers. This was the lowest viewership number since October 25, 2019 when that episode aired on FS1. As far as episodes that first aired on FOX, this was the least-watched episode of SmackDown since the move to the network last year.

In the 18-49 demographic, the show drew a 0.6 rating, the same number as last week's episode. ABC's primetime programming block and CBS's airings of MacGyver and Magnum P.I. drew higher ratings in the 18-49 demographic.
