Pete Dunne will be getting his rematch against Tyler Bate soon.
In Norwich, England WWE hosted an event where Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate both competed. On the second night of the event, Bate defended his WWE United Kingdom Championship against Mark Andrews and Dunne defeated Trent Seven for the number one contendership. The WWE then announced a championship match for NXT Takeover: Chicago, Dunne versus Bate. The match will be a rematch from the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament final where Bate became the first and only wrestler to hold the title. After the announcement, Dunne was interviewed by WWE where he said it is "a matter of time" before he holds the WWE United Kingdom Championship.

Besides their previous meeting in WWE, Dunne and Bate have met in the ring in promotions all across the United Kingdom. Since winning the championship in January, Bate has defended his title twice on NXT against Trent Seven and Jack Gallagher.
NXT Takeover: Chicago will take place May 20th at the All State Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The other matches set for the network special are a NXT Championship match, NXT Women's Championship triple threat match, and NXT Tag Team championship ladder match.
The two-night WWE event in Norwich, England will be broadcasted later this month on WWE Network.
