This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown! Live. Tonight we have a great show as in our main event Shinsuke Nakamura faces Kevin Owens to determine who will join team Smackdown at Survivor Series, AJ Styles will face the other Singh brother and Dolph Ziggler takes on Bobby Roode in a two out of three falls match. -Shane comes out to the ring to start the show and talks about the attack that he led against the RAW roster. Shane talks about Smackdown! Live since the Superstar Shakeup and the decision to invade RAW. Shane thanks the fans and talks about and shows how Daniel Bryan was attacked by Kane. Shane then declares that he will captain Team Smackdown before leaving as Bobby Roode comes out to the ring for his match with Dolph Ziggler.
Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler Two Out of Three Falls Match
Dolph takes Roode down for a quick two count, then Roode dropkicks him before playing to the crowd and teasing his finisher. Dolph counters Roode and backs him into the corner before Roode rolls Dolph up and gets the first fall rather quickly before he sends Dolph out of the ring. Roode sends Dolph into the barricade before they get back in the ring and Dolph hits a superkick for a fall as we go to commercial.
They exchange strikes as we come back from commercial, Roode hitting a uranage for a near fall, then plays to the crowd and teases the Glorious DDT again, but Dolph counters again and DDTs him for a near fall of his own. Roode counters the Zig Zag with a spinebuster, but just as Roode goes for the Glorious DDT Dolph hits a Zig Zag for a near fall. Roode sidesteps Dolph before they counter each other until Roode hits the Glorious DDT for the third fall for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bobby Roode gets the third fall to win the match and gain a spot on the Smackdown! Team at Survivor Series.
Baron Corbin vs Sin Cara
Corbin drops Sin Cara with a boot before sending him out of the ring and beating on him at ringside Sin Cara sidestepping Corbin and sending him into the barricade. Corbin counters an attempted tope to the outside before trying to rip his mask off once he's back in the ring. Sin Cara gets out of the ring before Corbin goes out after him, Sin Cara spearing Corbin into the ring steps, then onto the announce table. Sin Cara then beats on Corbin until the official calls for the bell.
Winner: No contest
AJ Styles vs Samir Singh
AJ immediately attacks Samir before hitting the Styles Clash for the pin and the win.
Winner: AJ Styles via pinfall
-After the match Jinder attacks AJ before leaving as we go to commercial.
Rusev vs Big-E
E is in control to start the match, putting Rusev in an abdominal stretch while playing to the crowd before Rusev tosses E into the ring post and out of the ring and to the floor as we go to commercial.
Rusev has E in a straight armbar as we come back from commercial before E powers out of it and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. E kicks Rusev and plays to the crowd before hitting a splash for a near fall. E hits a uranage before Aiden English gets on the announce table and distracts E before Rusev kicks him in the back of the head for the pin and the win.
Winner: Rusev via pinfall
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens
Shinsuke goes after Kevin immediately before Kevin rolls out of the ring to escape the onslaught. Shinsuke goades Kevin back into and hits him with a knee before hitting Good Vibrations in the corner. Kevin gets back out of the ring and Shinsuke follows him before sending Kevin into the barricade as we go to commercial.
Kevin superkicks Shinsuke as we come back from commercial for a quick two count before playing to the crowd and beating on him in mount with right hands. Shinsuke fights his way out of a headlock only for Kevin to hit a DDT for another quick two count, then Kevin puts him in another headlock that he also fights out of somewhat quickly. Shinsuke hits a one legged dropkick and a series of kicks before Sami comes down to the ring and distracts him. Kevin rolls Shinsuke up for a near fall before Shinsuke drops Kevin with a roundhouse kick for a near fall of his own. Kevin hits a superplex for another near fall before Shinsuke hits a sliding knee after countering a pop-up powerbomb.
Shinsuke starts to go for the Kinshasa, but Sami pulls Kevin out of the ring before he can, then Kevin sends Shinsuke into the ring post before hitting a splash off of the top for a near fall. Randy Orton comes out and takes care of Sami before Shinsuke hits the Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Kevin Owens to gain a spot on the Smackdown! team at Survivor Series.
