Dana White Says Fighters Will Walk Out Of The Oval Office During UFC Card At The White House

Dana White reveals new information about the upcoming UFC card at The White House.

Dana White reveals new information about the upcoming UFC card at The White House.

In July of next year, the UFC have planned to host a show on the White House’s front lawn, with plans being put in place for the event despite it being almost a year away.

While speaking on the latest episode of Impaulsive, Dana White spoke about the upcoming card and concerns about fitting in a bumper crowd for the show. White also would reveal that the fighters will walk out from the Oval Office for the event.

“So there will be less than 5,000 people there. I don’t give a fuck if there’s one person there and it’s him. I’ll do this with no crowd. You know what I mean? To be on the White House lawn with the backdrop being the White House, I don’t care. This isn’t about the crowd for me. It’s about being at the White House. Because if it was about the crowd, I’d do it at the park that’s connected to it, right? I’d do it at the park. We could put- if I built bleachers and shit like that, we’d probably do 30,000 people over there. I can do that anywhere, in any park, anytime. We’re gonna be on the fucking south lawn of the White House, I don’t give a shit if it’s shit, if it’s just my production people, I’m good and probably, and to be honest with you, probably pre-COVID, I probably would have thought differently about that. It’s like, some of those fights, we had nobody there for COVID, you know what I mean? This isn’t about the gate, the people, the energy. This is about the fighters are going to walk out of the Oval Office. When they walk, they’re walking from the Oval Office.”

Elsewhere in the same appearance, Dana noted that he does not watch WWE. You can read more about that here.
