Corey Graves: “I Thought CM Punk & Roman Reigns Was One Of The Greatest WrestleMania Main Events”
Graves heaps praise on Punk and Reigns’ main event.
For 33 minutes, CM Punk and Roman Reigns battled in the main event of WrestleMania 42 night two, with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Reigns ended up besting Punk to become champion.
WWE commentator Corey Graves reflected on the bout while chatting with Bill Apter. Graves feels it was one of the greatest WrestleMania main events in history.
“I thought CM Punk and Roman Reigns was one of the greatest WrestleMania main events in the history of the 42 years of WrestleMania. I think they told a beautiful, rich story, with physicality, with emotion. Their emotions on their face, the eyes told the story as much as the physicality and destroying ringside tables and things like that. I thought that was a true clinic, a master class in what professional wrestling should be.”
Reigns is heading into his first title defense on May 9th at the Backlash Premium Live Event. He’ll be defending the belt against Jacob Fatu.
