Ciryl Gane Explains What Beating Jon Jones At UFC 285 Would Mean To Him: "It's Going To Be Something Big For My Career"

Former interim UFC heavyweight champion, Ciryl Gane, knows a win over former light heavyweight champ, Jon Jones, this weekend could be huge for his career.

Gane spoke with reporters during Wednesday's media day for Saturday's UFC 285 event in Las Vegas, Nevada ahead of his clash with Jones and explained that he doesn't care whether naysayers view him as the "undisputed" heavyweight champion or not if he wins, because beating a great like Jones alone would mean the world to the Frenchman.

“I won the belt now, no matter who is the guy,” Gane said (h/t MMA Junkie). “It’s going to mean a lot for me because he is the GOAT. Everyone knows that, because of his career. If we win, it’s going to be something big for my career and something big for my life, for sure.”
