Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will try to continue his climb back to a bantamweight title shot when he faces Pedro Munhoz at a yet-to-be-announced UFC 265 event on August 7, first reported by Combate. Aldo is 1-2 since dropping down to 135 pounds and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Marlon Vera at UFC Vegas 17, whereas Munhoz defeated Jimmie Rivera in his latest Octagon appearance also via a unanimous decision.

Rory MacDonald vs. Gleison Tibau headlines PFL 5 in June
PFL officially announced the full card for their upcoming PFL 5 event on June 17 and the headlining bout was revealed to be former UFC title challenger and Bellator welterweight champion Rory MacDonald taking on fellow former UFC veteran Gleison Tibau. MacDonald won his promotional debut back at PFL 2 submitting Curtis Millender in the first round via a rear-naked choke, Tibau, on the other hand, lost his promotional debut on the same PFL 2 event when he dropped a unanimous decision to Joao Zeferino.

Juliana Velasquez vs. Denise Kielholtz title fight planned for Bellator 262 in July
Newly crowned Bellator women's flyweight champion Juliana Velasquez will make the first defense of her title against Denise Kielholtz at a yet-to-be-announced Bellator 262 event on July 16, first reported by MMA DNA. Velasquez is currently undefeated at 11-0 and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over former champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane at Bellator 254. Kielholtz is currently riding a four-fight winning streak and defeated Kate Jackson via a first-round knockout at Bellator 247 in her last appearance for the promotion.

Daniel Rodriguez takes on Abubakar Nurmagomedov at UFC event in July
Welterweights Daniel Rodriguez and Abubakar Nurmagomedov are set to collide at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on July 17, first reported by Entre Rounds. Rodriguez is 5-1 in his six UFC appearances so far and is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Mike Perry back at UFC Vegas 23. Nurmagomedov is 1-1 in his current stint with the promotion so far and will try to build off of his first victory inside of the Octagon back at UFC 260 where he defeated Jared Gooden via a unanimous decision.

Tim Means faces Danny Roberts at UFC event in June
Welterweight Tim Means took to his official Twitter account to announce his next fight a matchup with Danny Roberts at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on June 19. Means is 3-1 in his last four Octagon appearances and most recently took a unanimous decision victory over Mike Perry back at UFC 255. Roberts is 3-2 in his last five fights and the Englishman is coming off of a second-round knockout victory over Zelim Imadaev at UFC Fight Night 163 in November 2019.

Erin Blanchfield makes UFC debut against Sarah Alpar at UFC 266 in September
Highly touted women's flyweight prospect Erin Blanchfield will make her Octagon debut against Sarah Alpar at a yet-to-be-announced UFC 266 event on September 4, first reported by MMAJunkie's Nolan King. Blanchfield is a former Invicta FC veteran and is currently riding a three-fight winning streak with her latest win coming over Brogan Walker-Sanchez via a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 41. Alpar is 1-1 in her current run with the promotion and is coming off of a third-round TKO loss to Jessica-Rose Clark at UFC Vegas 11.

Darren Elkins vs. Darrick Minner in the works for UFC event in July
Featherweight fan favorite Darren Elkins will make his return to the Octagon against Darrick Minner at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on July 24, first reported by MMAJunkie's Farah Hannoun. Elkins is 1-4 in his last five fights but did avoid a five-fight skid in his last outing, defeating Luiz Eduardo Garagorri via a third-round submission due to a rear-nake choke at UFC Vegas 13. Minner on the other hand will look to make it three wins in a row against Elkins, he defeated Charles Rosa via a unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 19 in his last fight.
