UFC Vegas 25 Bonuses: Jiri Prochazka Cashes In $100,000

Jiri Prochazka is doubling up on performance bonuses at UFC Vegas 25.

Prochazka improved his pro-record to 28-3-1 with a second-round knockout of Dominick Reyes on Saturday night. The light heavyweight contenders fought a gruelling pace with heavy strikes absorbed on both ends. It was Prochazka, however, who led the dance and closed the show with a spinning back elbow that face-planted his opponent.

The two-round war earned each man $50,000 for Fight of the Night, with Prochazka taking home an additional $50,000 for Performance of the Night. Kai Kamaka and TJ Brown, who put on an arguably Fight of the Year candidate on the prelims, were leapfrogged.

Giga Chikadze, who needed a hair over a minute to TKO Cub Swanson, took home the other Performance of the Night honor. The Georgian striking specialist also takes home $50,000 for his efforts.
