Report: WWE Interested In Bringing Back Former WWE Divas Champion

WWE has a tough time squeezing all of their talent onto television as it is, but that might get a little more crammed if a new report proves to be true.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE has interest in bringing back Celeste Bonin, who performed for the company for years as Kaitlyn. It's worth noting that the report hasn't been confirmed by Fightful as of yet, and mentioned that Bonin "was put over in Tough Enough even though she was the least experienced," despite never appearing on Tough Enough. Instead, she appeared on season 3 of NXT with little experience.

Kaitlyn wrestled for over three years, where she had a notable connection with now-best friend AJ Lee. She would go on to win season 3 of NXT, and became a WWE Divas Champion.

Bonin left WWE in early 2014 to focus on her Celestial Bodiez clothing line, and marriage to bodybuilder CJ Braun. She and Braun split up earlier this year in a situation that saw many of her business social media accounts compromised. Since the split, She's been seen reconnecting with those within the wrestling industry. Last week, she noted that she got in the ring for the first time in years.
