Before becoming the President of the United States, Trump was a face that featured on WWE television several times, including in 2007 in the Battle Of The Billionaires between he and Vince McMahon. At WrestleMania 23, he would feature in a backstage segment with The Boogeyman, who has now revealed a cut part of the segment.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, The Boogeyman recalled a part of the segment that was cut due to Trump not wanting to look fearful of him.

“He and Vince are friends, as you know. But I got to tell you, in that segment, when I come up from behind the couch, and he had also Miss America there as well, and she ran off. But being Donald, Mr. Trump, President Trump, as he is, he didn’t want to be frightened. So he’s talking about how this place is a circus. True enough, But he didn’t want to sell my character. No, yeah, he didn’t want to sell my character. So he said, ‘go make me a sandwich,’ and, you know, you see me walk off screen, but then I came back and I grabbed him by the collar and I said, ‘how about a worm sandwich?’ They cut that. They cut it because he did not want to show fear. Well, no, he didn’t want to look scared of me. He didn’t want to show that he was frightened. But this is a true story. Yeah, and I grabbed him and I came back because Vince wants this character to be the Boogeyman, and in all actuality, I got somewhat in trouble for that, or he for it, because I allowed him to not show fearfulness, which almost kills the character. Do you understand? But anyway, that’s how it went. But I was very fortunate. I can say that I actually met the president before he was president.”

Earlier this year, Jacob Fatu would name Boogey’s entrance as his personal GOAT WWE entrance. You can read more about that here.
