Adam Copeland doesn’t see himself working on the executive side of professional wrestling when he retires from in ring competition.

Copeland has been a part of AEW since AEW WrestleDream in October 2023, and has featured as part of the tag division as well as the singles division in the company. Copeland is at the backend of his in ring career, but for Copeland, he is not looking to enter an executive like role in the industry when he retires from in ring competition.

While speaking to The Sportsocracy in a new interview, Adam Copeland was asked about potentially becoming an executive in pro wrestling following his in ring career.

“I don’t think so. I don’t think I would want to be that heavily involved if I couldn’t still do it as well. Although, who knows? I really feel like coming back after my forced retirement and getting this last six years back really kind of helped me get the stuff out of the basement that I didn’t get out the first time because I didn’t know my retirement was coming. This time, I have that knowledge, and maybe because of that, it’ll be different, and because I’m not being forced to retire at 37 now, I’ll be 53 or maybe just touching 54 by the time I retire. So there’s a reality with that. It’s like, this just ain’t possible at a certain point. It’s a really hard job.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Copeland compared his current tag team run with Christian Cage to two Muppets. You can read more about that here.
