Bruce Prichard Speaks About CM Punk Being Unique With How He Thought And Carried Himself

Does he have your attention now?

Former 3-time World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is known for marching to the beat of his own drum and during the season finale of the WWE Network show 'Something Else To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard' and his host Conrad Thompson, the topic of the show was CM Punk. Prichard worked in WWE during the time when Punk was having runs as the WWE Intercontinental, ECW, and World Heavyweight Champion before Punk jumped into the superstar spotlight that he once held in the company.

Prichard went on to speak about CM Punk's uniqueness and how Punk viewed certain things along with explaining the straight-edge lifestyle that Punk abides by.

?Yeah, CM Punk growing up his father was an alcoholic, and Punk did not get along, did not have a good relationship with his father growing up, and hated--everything around him was in disarray and he accredited that to his father being an alcoholic. Punk swore that he wasn?t going to? let that affect him and that?s where he really adopted the straight-edge, which is you don?t drink, you don?t do drugs and you live your life on your terms and your rules. But you don?t need any strenuous substances in your body.? Prichard explained. ?He really liked the tattoos, he got into tattoos and what have you.? Prichard continued, ?There?s a story of the big Pepsi tattoo where he was reading an article about one of his favorite music stars who got a Coca-Cola tattoo because they liked Coke, and he [CM Punk] says, ?Well, you know what? I like Pepsi, so I?m going to get a Pepsi logo on my arm?, and it was interesting stories like that? CM Punk?s a different cat. I mean he?s a different type of person that? goes along life to the beat of his own drum and he? has a very simplistic way of looking at things, and people a lot of times wanna complicate it.? Prichard said. ?Its not that hard; he doesn?t drink, he doesn?t do drugs and he wants to do things his way and be the best, and it boils down to that. That simple of a philosophy."
