Bruce Prichard: There's Still A Lot That Needs To Be Worked Out With My Role In WWE

Bruce Prichard sheds light on his new role in WWE.

On Feb. 23 it was reported that WWE rehired Bruce Prichard to join the WWE creative team. According to PWInsider's report, Prichard's position in WWE is described as being "as important as possible." Prichard started up again with WWE this past Monday at Raw.

On the latest episode of Something To Wrestle With, Prichard sort of cleared up his position in WWE.

"I'm extremely happy to be back in the family at WWE," stated Prichard. "I had my first TVs back this past week. Had an absolute blast seeing everybody and being back in the fold.

Prichard laughed when reports of him being "Vince's right-hand man" were brought up, saying, "There's a lot that still needs to be worked out as far as what my role will be. I'm gonna come back and help out wherever I can be most valuable. We're working through it and figuring out where I might fit best. It's something that happened pretty quickly. A lot has changed in 10 years. There's still a lot of questions to be answered."

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Prichard is a "consultant and not a member of the writing team" and that initial reports about his position were overblown. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet goes on to report that Prichard still answers to many people, but he did produce the Batista segment involving Ric Flair on Raw.

Prichard went on to say that Something To Wrestle With will continue as scheduled, though they may have to cut down the number of live shows they do due to Prichard's new role.
