Charlotte Flair is once again the NXT Women's Champion, in fact, her victory at WrestleMania was her 12th championship win in WWE overall. However, Charlotte didn't always have royalty level skills inside of the squared circle and she would like an opportunity to give back to somebody who gave her a chance to break out and become a star.
Speaking with CBS Sports, Charlotte Flair named Mia Yim as her dream opponent in NXT and also revealed that the two have a history together because Mia was Charlotte Flair's first-ever dark match opponent in WWE.
"Definitely Mia Yim," Flair said. "My very first dark match at NXT, they brought in Mia Yim to have with me. I was the girl who had no experience and didn't know what I was doing, and Mia Yim obviously did. To see where our careers have gone, with her going to NXT, our paths can cross now four-and-a-half or five years later with myself a completely different person. I'm excited for that. I've been rooting for her this whole time, I just had to catch up."
Up next for Charlotte Flair is Io Shirai. Shirai won a Ladder Match on the April 8th edition of NXT in order to earn the right to call herself the number one contender for Charlotte's new championship.
