Dalton Castle Laughs Off Reports That WWE Is Interested In Him

If Dalton Castle is WWE bound, he isn't tipping his hand.

Last week, the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE is interested in former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle. It's unknown when Castle's contract with ROH expires, but he said in January 2018 that he had "another year left with Ring of Honor guaranteed."

Speaking to Bill Apter, Castle was asked about the reports about WWE's interest.

"Of course I heard those rumors. Who wouldn't be interested in Dalton Castle? I think about them. I think about them a lot. It's a big world out there. You want the scoop? I got a lucrative offer from WCW. And I'm thinking about taking it."

Castle then drew out the letters WCW ala Bret Hart at the 1997 Survivor Series.

Castle worked this past Friday's ROH Final Battle event, losing to Matt Taven in a competitive bout. Castle bounced back the next night at the TV tapings in Philadelphia, winning a Four Corner Survival Match to be crowned the No. 1 contender for the ROH World Title.

He is scheduled to face Jay Lethal at Honor Reigns Supreme in January.
