Dax Harwood Explains FTR’s Absence From AEW Since Double Or Nothing
FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) lost the AEW Tag Team Championships to Christian Cage & Adam Copeland at Double or Nothing in an “I Quit” match.
The duo has not been back on television since.
On Instagram, Dax shared that, “For the first time in 12 years, we’ve decided to step away and take some time for ourselves & for our families. I’m not sure when we’ll be back, what we’re going to do, how much longer we have, or if we even need to prove anything at all anymore.”
Dax said that aside from his bicep tear in 2017, they haven’t taken time off since the summer of 2014, but they have both become physically and mentally exhausted.

It is unknown when FTR will return to TV. Fightful will continue to update fans on their status as more is known.
