Edge calls out The Demon.
Finn Balor has been feuding with the WWE Hall of Famer for several months, as he took over The Judgment Day stable from him and kicked him out of the group in June 2022. The two sides have been engaged in a heated rivalry ever since. Balor previously challenged Edge to face him at WrestleMania, and the legend later named the Hell in a Cell match as the stipulation. When Balor agreed to the terms, he teased that his Demon persona might resurface for the match.
On the March 20 episode of WWE Raw, Edge directly called out The Demon. He referenced his own history in the Hell in a Cell match and noted that he had been baptized in the steel structure by The Deadman himself. Edge said that he didn't fear anyone; instead, he was the devil that should be feared. He then encouraged Balor to leave "Finn" at home and bring the Demon to meet the Devil for their match at WrestleMania 39.
Fans will have to wait and see whether The Demon will return at WrestleMania. Balor hasn't brought the persona back since he lost to Roman Reigns at WWE Extreme Rules 2021.
