Boots Murphy talks B Cool in Over The Top Wrestling.
B Cool is one of the top talents in Irish Wrestling, with his comedic gimmick getting over with fans in a unique way. Over the years, he has wrestled some top names who have made their way over to Ireland including Orange Cassidy, Jon Moxley and more.
While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a recent interview, Boots Murphy discussed B Cool, noting that he should be in WWE or AEW by now.
"Yeah, I've worked him once and it's one of my favorite matches that I've done. B Cool is the best wrestler who does comedy. I don't want to say comedy wrestler because he takes his craft serious, like me. So if there is a God, I pray to him to put me in a room and map out a story with B Cool. Because he is a genius to this business. I don't know if he wants to travel outside of Ireland to wrestle, but if he needs to be in AEW. He needs to be in WWE. I don't know if he wants that. If he doesn't, it's a crying shame. But if he does. It's a crying shame that he's not already there. He is a fantastic wrestler. He is the MVP of OTT. He has been that for close to a decade. He is one of the reasons I fell in love with OTT. The first OTT show I ever went to was the ScrapperMania 4. And his match, teaming with Angel Cruz against the Rapture, Charlie Sterling and Zack Gibson. That's the name. It was one of the reasons I fell in love with OTT. I absolutely adore that match. I've gone back and watched that match like 10 times, it is a fantastic match. I've never had such a guttural vocal reaction to somebody pulling out a gun. I was so excited to see him shoot somebody. So yeah, B Cool is a fantastic wrestler. If there's any chance that I can work him one more time, I will lap it up in his heartbeat. So grateful to even have one match with him, and I would love to work him again a million times over."
B Cool won the 2024 Loco Rumble in January and is set to challenge for the OTT World Championship at ScrapperMania 2024.
