FTR Renaming The 'Goodnight Express' (Shatter Machine) To ‘Big Rig’ To Honor Brodie Lee

The wrestling world was rocked on Saturday, December 26th, 2020, when Brodie Lee tragically passed away. Over the past week, many of Brodie’s contemporaries have shared stories of how beloved he was behind the scenes  Now, FTR have said they’re going to honor him further.

Dax Harwood announced on Twitter that after speaking with Amanda Huber, they will be renaming the former Shatter Machine aka “The Goodnight Express” as “The Big Rig” to honor Brodie Lee.

Recently, FTR revealed that Brodie Lee had plans for the three of them to enter the promotion as “The Radicalz.” This is, of course, a play on when Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, and Perry Saturn entered the WWF after leaving WCW.

All Elite Wrestling has continued to honor Brodie Lee dedicating an entire episode of AEW Dynamite to paying tribute to him and his family, and they even named his son as “Wrestler of the Week.” Learn more about that at this link.
