Great Khali: Vince McMahon Told Me That I Could Either Be Called Khali Or Great Gandhi In WWE
Great Khali shares a story about Vince McMahon presenting his ring name options.
There’s a new interview with The Great Khali that was recorded for Insight with Chris Van Vliet. One of the stories Khali shared was that when he was being presented with ring names for his WWE run, Vince McMahon told him he could be Khali or The Great Gandhi.
“Vince McMahon (is how I got my ring name). Vince said, ‘Great Gandhi or Great Khali.’ I said, ‘I can choose Gandhi, but Gandhi is a peaceful guy.'”
Khali confirmed in this interview that he’s retired from in-ring competition. He last wrestled in 2018.
