IMPACT Says Matt Cardona Will Be Out Of Action For 12 Weeks With A Fractured Orbital Bone

Matt Cardona will be on the shelf for the next three months.

On May 20th, Brian Myers attacked Cardona backstage, throwing him into a wall and then face-first into a camera. Myers is still angry that his longtime friend followed him to IMPACT Wrestling, believing that he is trying to steal his spotlight. In their last face-off, Cardona defeated Myers to earn a spot in a Number One Contenders Match at Under Siege.

In an update provided by IMPACT's Dr. Ross, Cardona suffered a fractured orbital bone and will be out of action for "about 12 weeks."

Myers then interrupted the doctor and said that Cardona being out for weeks isn't long enough. He wants to know what he has to break on Cardona to keep him away for good.

Sam Beale then walked into the shot and apologized for interrupting. Instead of getting mad at him, Myers took a different approach and offered to teach him how to be a professional wrestler.
