After appearing on the first Dynamite back in October of 2019, Jake Hager finally stepped into the All Elite Wrestling squared circle tonight and defeated Dustin Rhodes.
The former WWE World Champion showcased an aggressive style against the veteran, utilizing a majority of MMA tactics interspersed with the wrestling Style fans had come to know during his tenure in WWE.
A unique aspect of this match was the involvement of Jake Hagar's wife, who was sitting in the front row and even tried to smack Dustin Rhodes but would get a lip lock for her efforts. After the match, which Jake Hager won with the standing head-and-arm triangle choke, Hagar's wife would celebrate with him in the ring.
