JD McDonagh did not want to wait anymore.
Despite appearing in a vignette that clearly stated he would debut next week, JD McDonagh, the former Jordan Devlin, re-emerged in NXT at the end of the Great American Bash event on July 5, attacking NXT Champion Bron Breakker to close the show just moments after Breakker successfully defended the belt against Cameron Grimes.
Jordan was previously featured on NXT during his time as NXT Cruiserweight Champion. He was largely featured in NXT UK before losing an NXT UK Championship match to Ilja Dragunov and being forced to leave the brand. This renaming is part of his move over to the American NXT brand on a regular basis.
