MJF Says He's Not A Mark For Chris Jericho, But He Is A Mark For Chris Jericho's Spot

Maxwell Jacob Friedman says that the difference between him and Chris Jericho is that one Chris Jericho was 25 he was jerking the curtain on [WCW] Worldwide.

The Pinnacle has responded to the Inner Circle and Chris Jericho's “Immortal Promo.”

Following the debut of The Pinnacle and their subsequent beatdown of Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle, Chris Jericho would get his revenge and then go on to cut one of the more notable Promos in the short history of AEW.

In this promo, Chris Jericho made fun of FTR and how indistinguishable they are from one another, he also took shots at Shawn Spears’ supposed inability to live up to his own potential, and perhaps most importantly, he called Maxwell Jacob Friedman a mark for himself.

Speaking in a sit-down interview with Jim Ross on the April 21 episode of Dynamite, The Pinnacle fired back.

Wardlow, who is usually one to let his actions do the talking for him, noted that Chris Jericho stumbled his words when it came time to mention Wardlow in his promo from a few weeks ago and that is because Chris Jericho nose, according to Wardlow that once Wardlow's name came out of his mouth, he made a mistake.

MJF then took centerstage. Maxwell would note that he has already defeated Chris Jericho and that while he is not a mark for Chris Jericho, he is a mark for Chris Jericho's spot and In Blood & Guts on May 5, he is going to take it from Chris Jericho alongside his brothers in arms.
