Mojo Rawley On Rob Gronkowski In WWE: Wait Until You See Him Without The Shackles

Is Rob Gronkowski WWE bound?

When news broke over the weekend that Rob Gronkowski would be retiring from the NFL, the WWE speculation immediately began. Gronkowski has made it no secret that he is a wrestling fan, even appearing at WrestleMania 33 for a cameo in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. WWE superstar Mojo Rawley is one of Gronkowski's good friend and is already pushing the idea of Gronk in WWE.

"He's always been a wrestling fan. WrestleMania (33), he was all excited about it. We still joke around about it. We're still really proud of that moment," Rawley told TMZ. "In the future, I'm sure you'll see him in a WWE ring in one capacity or another. I don't know if that day is gonna be today. I'm absolutely positive they would be receptive (to Gronkowski). A guy that can move the way he can, who has his size and overall demeanor and charisma. That's exactly what we're looking for here. I'm sure they'd be on board. There have been a lot of superstars from other walks of life that have come here and been successful. That's the beauty of WWE, everyone has their own story and path. It's a diverse and unique locker room. He'd be a perfect fit."

As for Rawley's pitch to Gronkowski, Rawley stated, "It's time to turn up. Let's go baby. The handcuffs are off. You don't have the Patriots and NFL locking you down anymore. If you thought Gronk was wild before, wait til you see him without the shackles on. It's a whole other beast."

As of now, Gronkowski to WWE is nothing more than speculation.
